It's not often that I write a review of any kind, but I was motivated by the quality and detail of this book. I have thoroughly enjoyed the mind opening thoughts of the author as well as the techniques he espouses to improve how you use your mind and how to train your brain to be the catalyst for improving your life. I'll never forget the analogy of "trying" to do something and how he explains in the book that "trying" is nothing more that a cop out phrase that we use and keeps our brain from moving us forward. I won't make it a spoiler here as I'm sure I could not explain it as well as the author. I am an HR professional for a large retailer and will likely be putting this on the "must read" list for our management members. Bravo for an excellent read!!

The quick rundown, I was skeptical of the whole concept but I gave it a shot after hearing a talk given by the author from the Commonwealth Club.I don't say this lightly, but it changed my life and my outlook.The approach is simple and has been done wrong in the past ( at least by me ) I won't go too far into it for fear of over simplifying it.It allows you to put your mind to work helping you rather than hindering you, you don't really need to understand the concepts underneath it, it's more the technique that makes it work.It's really hard to describe the difference it makes in a way that people would believe, much less understand.Try it, what have you got to lose.One warning though, you may have to push yourself to finish it, most people, myself included hit resistance and find reasons to procrastinate finishing it, work through that and think about what the book says about procrastination and you'll understand why it happens.

New insight on some old concepts and some new concepts too. I'm a personal growth/self-improvement junkie. This is the best book I've read on this topic in years. Steven presents the latest developments in plain, easy to understand language and does it in such an interesting way that you may blow right past some of the important assignments. I'm going to read it again, more slowly this time.

The information Steven Campbell shares in this book literally changed my life in days. Negative thought patterns that I've held on to for years, decades in fact, have been - are being overridden by positive ones. I won't go into any more details. Just simply read this book. This is information that should be shouted from the rooftops!

I've read an embarrassing number of self-help books. But this is the one that feels like the one that really gets at WHY we never truly change. I hope it works. Will update.

Nothing Earth shattering. Interesting.

Steven provides neuroscience that is elegant and simple to understand. If you have struggled for years with a pesky and unproductive belief, read Steven's book and you can put your mind to good use. Change your thoughts, change your life. I am amazed at how big an impact these ideas are having on my life.

Book was very informing,already have my goals posted all over.Too early to tell if the process works .takes a minimum of 21 days
